1892: Group of covers with Arms of Costa Rica frankings, comprising two registered one sent to Italy, one to Colombia, the latter addressed to "Panama Rail Road" and franked with two 10 c. and a 5 c., also noted a very fine small envelope franked with 10 c. light green from Barba to Berlin tied by scarce circular 'Admon de Correos / De / Barba / Costa Rica' in red, rare especially so fine, and a cover with 10 c. light green diagonally bisected to San José, as well as envelope franked with 5 c. red-lilac affixed to front and five 1 c. greenish blue fixed at reverse sent to Argentina; additionally comes with a 1906 cover from Schwedt, Germany to Punta Arenas franked with Deutsches Reich 3 pf. and 2 pf. pairs heavily redirected, a scarce and unusual set of covers.
