1861/86: Scarce group of early franked covers, comprising six examples; including; 1863/64 1 r. blue, two singles, on reduced cover to Bordeaux endorsed "andras", cut into in places and reduced side and back nonetheless a scarce cover (Scott 13 $1000 x2 singles on cover); 1873 1 r. vermilion diagonally bisected on cover from El Consejo to Caracas, pen cancel, two vertical filing creases one through adhesive, Köhler expert mark internally behind adhesive, scarce (Scott 38b $1'000); 1876 ½ r. pink with inverted overprint (Scott 47b) tied; also a 1 r. vermilion with inverted overprint tied to cover from Maracaibo to La Grita (heavy vertical creases with splits); 1861 ½ r. red-orange (coarse impression) on cover from Puerto Cabello and 1886 Porto Cabello to London franked with three 5 c. blue (one replced) and six 10 c. red; some faults, a scarce selection.
