May 13: 1 d. black, plate 1a, horizontal pair, lettered RE-RF, margins ample to very good, cancelled by red Maltese Cross, on folded cover from Sheffield to Macclesfield, reverse with two Sheffield double-arc circular date-stamps in red (May 13/14), heavy vertical crease through right stamp, light horizontal crease through both stamps and cover, yet a scarce example from the eighth official day of usage.
