1857: 1 d. red, Die II, perf. 14, lettered TE, used on small envelope, London to Worcester, dated 14 January 1858, tied by a fine strike of the Pearson Hill Experimental second Trial Machine cancel in black (Dubus Type 2), Machine 'A', Code 'M'. To the reverse a Worcester arrival in green-blue (Jan 15). Some soiling to cover. The adhesive has a clipped corner bottom right. Otherwise fine. Rare example; earliest known use of the 'M' Time Code. One of five recorded examples known of the 'M' Time Code on a cover.
