1901-1911: Collection of 40 King Edward VII choice examples all but one exclusively unused with proofs, blocks, varieties and specimens. De La Rue, Harrison and Somerset House printings, good range of values from ½ d. to 5 s., many fresh and fine with large part of og. Noted amongst others; De La Rue 1901 Die Proof 1 d. printed in black on glazed paper accompanied with two Plate Proofs in imperforate blocks of four and a 1 d. with concave 'SPECIMEN' overprint in black with variety "Watermark Inverted", also Harrison 1911 3 d. purple on lemon with variety "Beard Flaw" (RPSL cet.), Harrisons 1911 4 d. bright orange unused block of ten (5 x 2) marginal together with 4 d. very deep orange in a marginal block of four and Somerset House 1911 1 s. dark green & scarket unused overprinted 'SPECIMEN' (Type 26) in black fresh and ex the National Postal Museum archives. The odd fault or imperfection although mainly fine. Scarce accumulation Gi = £ 10'615+.
