1912/20: De La Rue Die Proofs (8) in black on glazed white card, stamp size on three pieces from the De La Rue day-book, all deleted in red ink with 1½ d. single example, 1 s. value on piece dated "May 22, 120 leads + 2 extra" with further mss. "July 2nd 1912", and large piece with 1 d., 2½ d., 4 d., 6 d., 2 s. and 5 s Proofs with much manuscript including dates between "June 14th 1912" and "Oct 7th 1912" again annotated with manuscript "120 leads + 2 extra". Superb examples of the working Dies, ex the archives and unique.
