1878/1935: Collection comprising 20 pages of mainly unused material with multiples, including 1895/1900 Palm Tree 1 d. green unused complete sheet of 120 in two panes of 60 stamps, Malietoa 2½ d. deep rose-carmine in a similar sheet of 120, the 6 d. brown-purple in a sheet of 120 numbered '369085' (high number for a stamp where just 648 sheets were printed) and 1899 Palm Tree 1 d. deep red-brown in a sheet of 120; all of fresh vibrant colours and large part, predominantly unmounted (Gi 58, 60a, 62a & 89 respecteively). 1914 GRI ½ d. on 5 pf. green lightly used showing variety "Surcharge Double" (Gi 102d) BPA certificate, 1914 GRI 2½ d. on 20 pf. ultramarine unused vertical marginal pair variety "Comma after 'I' of G.R.I." (Gi 104-104d) with cert. BPA; 1945/53 New Zealand Postal Fiscals overprinted "WESTERN / SAMOA" in blue or red set of eight values complete to £ 5 indigo-blue on Wiggins Teape paper, wmk. Multiple NZ and Star fresh and fine colours large part og. (Gi 207-214) - a scarce set (Gi = £ 1'300+). Additionally two covers, one with 1914 6 d. on 50 pf. black & purple on buff variety "Inverted "9" for 6" addressed to the S.S. John William with five other values. Generally fine Gi = £ 8'500+.
