Auction 333-341 Nigeria, Cameroon, Sudan & Worldwide Postal History - Day 4

1960/70ca: This collection features a substantial stock of Nigerian stamps post-independence, meticulously organized across five stock-books. Three of these stock-books cover all issues, predominantly duplicated, including many superior varieties. One stock-book is dedicated to a suite of federal stamps alongside a highly valuable selection of Biafra, showcasing rare stamps and varieties. Another stock-book encompasses the overprint issues for Southern Cameroon on Nigeria, featuring numerous varieties, imperforates, misperforations, and printing phases. The final stock-book contains the souvenir sheets of Biafra, including block of 4 1d 'Elephants' with one stamp overprint omitted, imprimatur and print waste items. Additionally, there is a basic collection of Nigerian stamps from 1937-1972 on pages, plus 10 letters with postal forgeries and an uncounted volume of these in glassines. The collection, with unused stamps separated from the used, maintains an overall excellent condition.
