1851: Lithographed 5 c. black, a horizontal pair and 40 c. rose, margins touched to large, used on 1853 cover to Paris tied by diamond dots obliterator, with fine "THONON" despatch cds (April 28) at right. "P.D." in red and "SARD. / FURNEX" transit cds in red (April 29) with reverse showing Lyon transit and Paris arrival cds (May 1). A rare and most impressive Savoy franking. Signed Oliva, A.
