1869 (February 12): Cover to Purmerende, franked with 1863 24 sk. brown, paying the correct double rate, tied by Christiania cds, FRANCO straight-line, reverse with Kiel / Hamburg railway transit (10 Feb) and arrival cds (12 Feb), manuscript 3½ (silbergroschen) notation on front denoting total due to the Prussian and Dutch Post Offices, a few light marks of little importance, adhesive with toned perf at upper left, a scarce single franking.
