1862 (October): Printed circular to Amsterdam, franked with 1850 60 r. black and 1854 30 r. blue horizontal pair, each with large to very large margins all around, prepaying the rate to the port in France, 7½ (cents) in manuscript denoting amount due from recipient, adhesives tied by black Pernambuco cds, the pair further tied by blue Brésil - Bordeaux transit, endorsed "via Bordeaux", backstamp of Pernambuco forwarding agents Krabbé Thom & Co, 1-½ c Amsterdam triangular foreign tax stamp, hinge remnants in places, cover repaired at right, clear of stamps, some holes in address due to the ink reacting with fragile thin paper, otherwise fine and scarce with tremendous visual appeal.
