Austrian Lloyd 1873: Unpaid cover and back flap from Burgas to Italy, struck on despatch with "BURGAS" circular datestamp (May 3) in black (Tchilinghirian fig. 936) and rated '28' (soldi) in red crayon. Mailed via Varna (May 6) with thimble cds on reverse and Constantinople, taxed upon arrival in Genova with Italy 1870 Postage Due 30 c. and 40 c. tied by "Genova" cds's (May 12) in black with corresponding handstruck "7" decimi at right. Illustrated in "Austrian Levant Post in Bulgaria" by Dr. G. Popov on page 27. A fresh and fine cover. Signed Sorani.
