Russian Post Office in Smirna 1884/88: 1 k. orange, 2 k. green and 7 k. blue, perf. 14¼ x 14¾, used on 1890 cover to Malden, Mass., USA tied by "R.O.P.i.T / SMIRNA" cds in blue with information strike at left (March 23) in blue (Tchilinghirian fig. 156). Reverse with Ropit Constantinople cds's (2), Odessa cds and "New York / Paid All" duplex with Malden arrival cds (June 30). A charming and scarce cover.
