UNDERPAID COVER: Cover sent from Mollendo to Callao on 7/JUL/1891, franked with a previously used stamp of 10c. The postal clerk noted this and applied a double circle blue mark of Mollendo with manuscript inscription "Estampilla usada" and the date, along with a postage due stamp of 1S. (10 times the corresponding postage) using 2 stamps of 50c. with triangular overprint of 1884 (Sc.J26), both with oval "MOLLENDO" mark and a datestamp of Callao applied on arrival on 11/JUL, very fine quality, very rare, ex-Herbert Moll.
