1937 2d WT strip of 4 (R10/1-4) p14 x 15, + 1d on 1939 front ex British Columbia, endorsed via “Monowai” to Auckland, NZ bearing GVI 1c x 3 Canadian stamps, PLEASE ADVISE YOUR CORRESPONDENTS THAT / THE LETTER RATE FROM CANADA IS SIX CENTS / PER HALF OUNCE. Blue r/s, circular T /90 taxe mark in black, red COLLECT / d. / AFFIX STAMPS / BEFORE / DELIVERY r/s with 9 & initials inserted in pencil & P Dues canc 27 June 1939 on arrival. Postage deficiency of 90 gold centimes calculated as being 4½d + 4½d fine. However, it appears that the cover was overcharged by 3d (1½d + 1½d) & only 6d P Due should have been charged. 2d stamps partially over edge.
