Balance collection housed in Stanley Gibbons 'The King George VI Stamp Album', printed in 1956 with olive green cover. In a good condition, the album has some foxing along page edges and contains around 1700 stamps, hinged directly into their appropriate space. There are many omnibus issues, Coronation, Victory, Silver Jubilee, UPU and BWI, but there are gaps. Stamps are mainly mint, but do include used, mainly fine used - all hinged on page. There are full and partial sets and the odd single value from sets. Estimated catalogue value c £2000 (excluding album).
