Royal Bank of Australia Sydney £1 October 14 1853 sight note. Promise to pay the bearer on the 19th Feb 1854 at Sydney the sum of £1 Sterling with interest to that day. Imprint W H Bruce Engraver & printer stamp St King St, Cheapside at the rate of five per cent per annum. VG well circulated with sl stains, few tiny holes. These sight notes circulated as banknotes.
