Reverse VIRT AVGG, Virtus standing facing, head left, holding Victory and inverted spear. RIC -; BMC -; RSC 664b. Scarce. Fine style, virtually as struck and lustrous. Nearly Mint State.

A remarkable bust type for the young Caracalla, noted only for this issue from Laodicea (see Hess-Leu 41, 24 April 1969, 313).
