1915. PCGS graded Proof 66 PQ. CAC Approved. The year 1915 marked the final issue of the Barber half dollar. Only 450 proofs were minted in this last year of the denomination. High grade survivors such as this coin are rare today and few can match the appeal of the coin offered in this lot. Both sides display an intricate mingling of lilac and honey-golden and brown hues at the peripheries, with brilliant white dominating the central devices. A near-perfect strike adds to this coin's fantastic eye appeal. Pop 13; 9 finer in 67 (PCGS # 6562) .
