Pre-Long Beach Auction #84

1800 S-199 R4 G6+. Very slightly sharper with extremely faint roughness well hidden under attractive glossy dark olive brown toning. No verdigris, and the only marks are two tiny intersecting nicks on the cheek and a larger dull nick in the center of the reverse. MDS, Breen state VI, with a small cud break at the top of the F in OF and significant swelling that weakens the central details on the reverse. The date and legends outside the wreath are strong. Nice for the grade, close to VG7.
