lot # 738 - united states liberty cents
1849 N-19 R4 EF45. Choice glossy medium brown and light chocolate. Very attractive for the grade, nearly flawless. A thin diagonal nick over the left top of the E in CENT is the only notable mark. Nicely struck E-MDS, die state a, with minor sinking but no crumbling on the reverse. A very attractive example of a variety that's difficult to find in high grade. Tied for CC#4 honors in the Grellman census. Comes with a nice provenance.
Estimated Value $300-UP.
