Syria, Decapolis. Hippos-Sussita. Elagabalus. AE (11.10 g), 218-222 CE VF. [AVT K M VP ANTWN] (sic), laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Caracalla right. Reverse: ANTIOXEI-[W IEP AVΛ], Pegasus standing left, head turned to look back, wings open and enclosing wreath between their tips. Spijkerman 36 (same obv. die); Meshorer, City-Coins 204; Rosenberger -; SNG ANS 1148-52. Light greenish-brown patina. Very Fine. Estimated Value $300 - 400
