Official 1882/85: 8 d. yellow, wmk. Crown over NSW inverted and shifted showing marginal lines, perf. 10, a used example from the 1895 special printing to make up collector sets, overprinted "OS" (11 mm. spacing) in red, a fine example, cancelled by part NSW ovals obliterator at upper right. A rare stamp with just 50 examples possible. Cert. Ceremuga (2010).

Official 1890: Stamp Duty 10 s. mauve & claret, perf. 12 optd. POSTAGE in blue and "OS" (Type 1) in black, a used example, slight closed tear at top not greatly affecting the appearance, cancelled by Sydney / NSW in black. An excewllent space-filler for this rare stamp. Cert. RPSV (2020) Gi = £ 3'750.

Official 1887 (Jan): Stamp Duty 10 s. lilac & claret, wmk. NSW reading up, perf. 12, an unused example centred to left, overprinted POSTAGE in black and "OS" in black (7 mm. spacing), further overprinted "SPECIMEN" in black, produced for Presentation sets, horizontal wrinkles at base on large part og. Just nine examples are recorded os the originally issued stamp. Scarce.

Officials 1888/90: Unused Officials collection on leaves with shades, perforation varieties and flaws, with 1 d. lilac (38) including three monogram or dated blocks of four, 2 d. blue (58) incl. corner blocks of eight (2) with monogram, marginal block of ten and a marginal block of twelve with all three marginal imprints, 4 d. brown (51) incl. blocks of four (4, one from lower left corner), marginal block of ten, 6 d. carmine (33) with blocks...

Official 1890 (Feb 15): Map 5 s. mauve, wmk. 5 / NSW, perf. 10, an unused example overprinted "OS" in black, well centred and of fine colour, large part og. Signed Brun Gi = £ 425.

Official 1890/91: Map 5 s. lilac and Captain Philip 20 s. cobalt-blue, perf. 10, overprinted "OS", the set of two values overprinted "SPECIMEN" in black, with in addition, two further 20 s. values in cobalt-blue (shades) showing differing types of the "SPECIMEN" overprint in black, one upper case and the other lower case, the two paler shades with browned large part og. Minor age spot imperfections but a scarce group.

Official 1891/92: The unused collection of Officials with perforation, shade and small flaws including 2½ d. ultramarine (30) including "GPO" imprint block of four and a Monogram block of six, scarce ½ d. on 1 d. grey (19) incl. single with "Halfpenny" with missing "H" and second "n" variety, and blocks of four (2) and of eight; 7½ d. on 6 d. brown (7) incl. a block of four, 12½ d. on 1 s. red (10) incl. two blocks of four (one with broken "O...

Stamp Duty 1868/1901: Stamp Duty bicoloured issue, various perfs., as detailed on album page, the remarkable set from 4 d. violet & ultramarine through to the ubiquitous £ 1 violet & claret, a total of 24 values, all overprinted "Specimen" in black, generally fresh colours, one or two with short perfs. or clogged perforations, all with part to large part og. A remarkably beautiful and most elusive set.

Recess by Perkins Bacon 1860: Chalon 1 d. carmine-rose, wmk. Large Star, clean cut perf. 14½-15½, an unused example of fine colour and good perfs., large part og. and very rare thus. Corner gum bend not affecting appearance and slight possibly natural paper flaw on the Queen's neck mentioned for accuracy, An exceptional example. Ex Rod Perry. Signed Herbert Bloch. Cert.
