Bulaq Issue 1874/75: Bulaq 20 p.a. grey-blue perf. 13½ x 12½ and 1 pi. red, perf. 12½, used on 1877 underpaid cover from Cairo to the German Ambassador in Constantinople, tied by "Poste Egiziane / Cairo" cds's (Feb 14). Struck with framed "T" marking and taxed "4" piastre and "½" piastre underneath the adhesives. Rated double short paid 1½ piastres, plus double the deficiency = 4½ piastres.
