1907 Registered cover from Banke to Kathmandu franked by 1a. blue, imperf, with recut frame, in combination with 1898-99 2a. purple and 4a. dark green, both imperf, for complete 8a. rate (3a. for letter up to 3 tolas & 5a. reg. fee), all tied by circular postmark of Banke, with dated postmark of Banke on the reverse. (Sender is Chandra Bir from Kanchanpur-Kailali, but posted at Banke). (Ex Heddergott collection.)
