1866/1990c.: Collection of both unused and used, in four hingeless Lighthouse red printed albums, with 1866 complete imperforate Proof set, unused and used values to 2 pi., fine run of Pyramid and Sphinx issues to 5 pi., various definitive and commemorative complete sets, airmails and Miniature sheets, Officials, Postage Dues together with some covers and Gaza issues.

1950: "L'Egypte Des Pharaons et le Timbre-Poste" Proofs of archaelogical stamps by Helio Vaugirard of Paris on eleven small size sheetlets and 12 large size imperforate pictures, numbered 461 of the 500 examples printed. Scarce and most attractive.

1843/1995: Vast accumulation of covers, cards, postal stationery and postal forms, over 1'300 items all told, with Posta Europea and pre-stamp covers, range of usages on Newspapers, Airmails, registered postal stationery envelopes, Customs and Hotels datestamps, instructional markings, destination mail, maritime mail, advertising covers, FDC's, Fiscal usages, in two volumes together with much loose, a veritable horde for the careful sorter....

Destinations 1872/1879: Penasson or Bulâq issues on covers (9), with 1879 cover with 1 pi. red used from Cairo to Bulach and readdressed on to Zurich, Switzerland and seemingly slit for disinfection; 1879 cover with 1 pi. red used to Madrid, Spain (somewhat surprisingly a very rare destination); 1 pi. used on 1878 cover to Paris, France; 1878 cover with 20 pa. and 1 pi. used to Bombay, India via Suez and 1876 similar franking to New York, USA...

1874/75: Bulâq 1 pi. red, a correspondence of covers (5) to Everton, Liverpool four with original contents, with three covers bearing 1 pi. cancelled "POST EGIZIANE / SUEZ" datestamps in black (2) or blue and 1878 cover with 1 pi. cancelled large "POSTES EGYPTIENNES / SUEZ" cds; also an 1878 cover with letter headed "In the Canal" franked by Great Britain 2½ mauve pl. 9 tied by "BO2" obliterator with British P.O. SUEZ cds adjacent (Feb 1)....

1885/1951: The vast Postmark Collection with 278 covers/cards and 40 loose stamps, arranged alphabetically including different types, withrare cancels from small villages incl. Aba el Wakf, Abshawar, Abu Quigas, Abu Sin, Ashmun, Balida, Bashbish, Batra, Biltan, Darau, El Diwein, El Lakun, El Tod, Fant, Gafaria, Gimmeza, Hihya, Ibshan, Ikhtab, Karmez, Mahras, Manzala, Matia, Mex, Minsha, Musha, Qoseir, Ras Gharib, Safaja, Saff, Sanhur, Tukh,...

1912/64: Rural Posts, two specialised collections of 102 cover/cards on exhibition pages (89) with detailed descriptions incl. "Bilgas-Minshat Ragheb", Dumiat-Izbet El Burg", Mellawi-Tanda", "Shibin el Kom-Bakhati" and too many others to mention individually, showing the different types of cancellations in black or in blue, covering the East and West Delta regions, together with Upper and Lower Egypt, the two collections complimenting each...

1933/83: Hotel Post Offices, the collection of 93 covers/cards from this popular field, mounted on 68 Exhibition pages incl. Hotels: Cataract, Cecil, Continental Savoy, Eden Palace Hotel, Ghezireh Palace, Grand Continental, Heliopolis Palace, Luxor Hotel, Mena House Hotel, Nile Hilton, San Stefano, Semiramis, Shepheards Hotel, Winter Palace etc., some with Hotel cancels and some on Hotel stationery, with 1894 Mena House usage to Gemany, 1904...

1891-1952: almost complete collection, just a dew older stamps from the first Victoria issue missing, from 1904 all complete unused, from 1904 only lightly hinged, also often several shades of a stamp and including the rare 2½ d. South Georgia provisional from 1928, 5 Sh Penguin with both shades and of course 10 Sh and 1 £ stamp. From ca. 1935 the unmounted stamps prevail. According to the consignor Catalogue value Stanley Gibbons £15'000....

1870: Stampless folded cover, struck with blue oval sender's cachet "VICTOR BARRERE / BATHURST / RIVIERE GAMBE / COTE OCCIDENTALE D'AFRIQUE", rated 7d. in manuscript postmarked with red GAMBIA c.d.s. (30 Dec), to Bordeaux, France,. endorsed "p. Athenian" and conveyed via London (15 Jan) and Calais (15 Jan), next-day c.d.s. arrival backstamp, fine and scarce.  The 4d. and 6d. adhesives were issued in March, 1869, but the 7d. rate could...
