12 var (67) 1915 1d pale rose 1d K George V of Australia overprinted 1st setting (JAN 4th) complete forme of 30 from the lower-right of the sheet with full margins at right and base with no monogram Plate III, Pane VI (R31-60), only the initial supply were dispatched to Rabaul with the selvedge attached - very few complete formes have survived, the margins from all other formes were removed in Melbourne, with varieties - notched upper-left corner (pos 40) and deformed shading line over "E" of "POSTAGE" (pos 59), some very minor reinforcing, very fresh with most stamps NH, only 336 panes overprinted (probably less than 5 still exist intact), a rare specialist item, OG, F-VF
