1858: 2 d. blue, plate 9, lettered CA-BB / DA-DB, an unused block of four with sheet margin at left and imprint "In Wetting the Back be careful not", few age tone spots, otherwise fresh and very fine, large part og. A rare and most attractive multiple Gi = £ 7'500.

1871 (Feb): Ormond Hill Die Proof for the bantam ½ d., without corner letters, printed in pale sage-green on thin hard yellowish wove paper (50 x 63 mm.). Slight marks or hinge thins above and below design is caused by the glue from an old hinge and some pencil notes on the reverse, otherwise fresh and very fine, a rare Proof. RPSL cert. (2021) Gi DP64b = £ 15'000.

1860: Prepared for use but unissued, 1½ d. rosy-mauve on blued, plate 1, lettered AD, an Imprimatur, marginal from top of sheet with imprint "(S)heet. Place the", a superb example of excellent rich colour, unused without gum. Rare Gi G5 = £ 7'000.

Embossed 1847 (Sept 11): 1 s. pale green, die 2, four good to huge margins all round, a used example of good colour, cancelled by an English oval numeral in black, fresh and fine appearance Gi = £ 1000.

1848/1854: Embossed, 10 d. brown, overprinted SPECIMEN type I, three margins, unused, most part original gum, touching right side, thinned, comes with 6 d. dull lilac, two margins, SPECIMEN overprint type I, unused original gum, strong colour and embossing, scarce pair Gi H2s and H3s = £6'800.

1847 (Nov 6): 10 d. brown, embossed, margins all round and part of adjacent stamp to left, used on small envelope, from London to Paris, dated 7 August 1851, tied by London Inland '23' barred oval in black, with 'PD' oval in red and Calais French transit in black alongside. To reverse a circular dispatch backstamp in red, a Blackheath straightline in blue and faint arrival. Cover is soiled and some creasing around the edges. Scarce stamp on...

1862: One Shilling green, in fine used block of four (plate 2) with wing margins to the right, used with heavy London obliterator "15", SG = £1400

1867/80: 3 d. rose pl. 6, wmk. Spray, a used block of telve lettered RE-RH / TE-TH, all cancelled by Telegraphic "124" boxed handstamps in black. Fault on RF at top, ironed bend and perf. imperfections but a scarce multiple Gi = £ 840++.

1867 (July 1): 2 s. dull blue, plate 1, lettered JE, left side Wing margin, wmk. Spray, perf. 14, an unused example, of strong colour, tiny paper flaw top, of fine and attractive appearance, large part og. A scarce stamp Gi J118 = £ 3'800.

1880 (Feb 27): 2 s. brown, plate 1, lettered EC, wmk. Spray, perf. 14, an unused example, of fresh colour, centred low to right, lovely shade, fine appearance with large part og. From a genuine old time collection which has been in a bank vault for nearly 70 years. Very rare stamp in this condition. Cert. Miro (1952). Gi = £ 30'000.
