1872 (November 17): Cover from Wiborg to Puremende franked on reverse with 8 p. black on green block of four, 10 p. black on yellow horizontal pair, cancelled with blue Wiborg small-circle date stamp, correctly paying the 52 penni rate, sent via Russia, with St. Petersburg transit backstamp and red “AUS RUSSLAND” entry mark (Nov 19), "2½" in red manuscript denoting remittance for the Prussian portion of the journey, Pumerende arrival backstamp (Nov 21), block with some separation, the odd nibbed or short perf. as often seen, a rare franking.
