Here is selection from the over 12,000 lots contained in our 152nd auction with numerous specialities and many highlights:

Numismatics: A special catalog with around 2,000 lots of coins ranging from antiquity to the present. Included are collectors’ coins, gold coins, estate coins and batches ... which alone have an auction value of ca. 750,000 €!

Stamps:

The stamps are shown in three catalogs: the main catalog, special catalog for the “Dr. Rolf Kosser”, “Gmünden” and “Gold der Saar” collections and a special catalog for “Numismatics”. They contain more than 10,000 lots with a total auction price of more than 2.5 million EUR!

Special catalog containing more than 700 lots with an auction value of approx. 350,000 €.

“Dr. Rolf Kosser collection”: the life’s work of an enthusiastic philatelist, he collected covers exclusively from Germany starting from 1870 until today. The main attraction is an impressive collection of “breast plate issues”.

The “Gemünden” collection: a general collection of German stamps containing numerous rarities, including a great many small breast plates in mnh condition, sought-after Empire issues as well as rare post-war issues from the “zone issues”, just like, for example, a Dansk mnh “großer Innendienst” item!

“Gold der Saar” collection: the first part of a huge Saargebiet and Saarland collection compiled by a Saarbrücken industrialist.

Main catalog:

German states: select supply with – among others – Bavaria 1 in mint and canceled condition, Brunswick 11B in very fine condition, various cover usages, canceled lots, general and state collections in the collections section.

German empire: highly specialised supply with numerous colours, types and specialities, including No. 13L16 – 30 Groschen Innendienstmarke in a large format with single postmark cancelation in perfect condition, quite a few plate flaws and types, Mi.-Nr. 66I canceled, rare canceled Mi.-Nr. 278Y, Mi. 331a (Hitler-Provisorium) canceled, Nothilfe-Block mnh (2,000 € starting bid), to name only a few top items. There are also a number of collections specialised in this exciting period of Germany’s philatelic history which are equally comprehensive!

German colonies / post offices abroad: extensive offer with many interesting mnh issues, canceled lots, cover usages and types, including mnh Kiautschou No. 27 from sheet corner, as well as sought-after first overprint issues of mnh values from numerous colonial areas!

Occupation World War I /Plebiscites / Gdansk / Memel / Saar: extensive supply with types and specialities, including Libau with 20 lots, Dansk with großer Innendienst mh and mnh, Memel with I mnh, Saar selection offers numerous varieties and types in outstanding quality.

World War II Occupation/field post: extensive, valuable supply with numerous rarities, including – among others – extensive German Occupation in France with Dunkirk and Lorient represented in many varieties and rarities, Lorient with special stamp on a cover! (RRR! 5,000), Alsace with upside down overprint on Mi.-No. 5 (900) – one of only 20 currently known specimens, Montenegro 10/19 mnh as unsigned luxury set with new photo certification from Robert Brunel VP (2016): “The condition is immaculate.” (2,500), comprehensive section of propaganda forgeries from WW2 in ca. 80 lots, in addition an extensive supply of field and concentration camp post with a number of rarities!

Germany after 1945: highly diversified supply with emphasis on SBZ/DDR, including many types and specialities, rare postage paid specimens, colours and plate flaws along with varieties, DDR with – among others – cancelled superb item No. 771Y with a new photo certification from Schönherr BPP “genuine and immaculate”, also numerous rare FDCs from the early DDR years, Bund and Berlin have interesting issues to offer, like red overprint or bugle set in mnh horizontal pairs, each with a new certification Schlegel BPP “The condition is immaculate.” Of equal interest are numerous collection lots that include, among others, FDC collection DDR, cover collections, duplicates, etc. ...

Overseas: with – among others – interesting Mauritius and People’s Republic of China offers...
