Entire letter from Syros Apr. 8 1862 franked with a lightblue 20l Paris print for the transport with Greek ship. Because the ship was Austrian the letter was "insufficiently paid" and taxed at arrival in Tripolis with a very deep ultramarine 20l. coarse Provisional. Very fine and impressive rare usage. Letter sheet from Syros Oct 3rd, 1862 with a total of 30L. to Tripolis. The normal inland was 20L. but the transportation with a foreign vessel (in this case an austrian one) was 10L. more (only known to and from Syros). 1L. Provisional on cover are very rare, the 1L. Paris was applied later. Despite the added stamp an impressive and very rare franking. (Hellas 2a+9IIb+11Ib+13IIb).
