1899, Postal cards 1c. blue, 2c. orange and 3c. green, all used with comprehensive message (which reads a consecutive "letter" if added) from "St.Mare 12/I.99" to Metz /Lorraine/Germany with Le Havre transit mark 1.2., Metz arrival 2.2. and redirected locally, two cards with closed registration hole (unobtrusive and irrelevant), slight normal postal wear (despatch mark is rather indistinct, reading something like "..5..ANV..", probably 15 January). Attractive and unusual!
