INDIA USED IN IRAQ 1869-1929: Collection of 34 covers and cards, two pieces and two stamps all franked with Indian definitives used from/via Iraq, with 11 covers from BAGDAD incl. three registered, two with Postage Due mark (one 1890 mark with value '4 as' in m/s!) and transit mail, plus two pieces, 18 covers and cards from BUSRAH (1869-1929 incl. registered mail, postage due, three picture postcards and a 1929 cover to London with violet 'PAQUEBOT' cancellation) plus marginal pair of East India QV ½a. with Basrah c.d.s. and "357" numeral, and five registered covers from Indian Expeditionary Forces in Iraq (one with contents to the U.S.A., three censored) all franked with 'I.E.F.' optd.
