Kosai Maru, franked with 10kp blue stamp overprinted "КИТАЙ" (Michel n 7x) exceptionally cancelled by Chinese bilingual postmark "SHANGHAI" on 28/3/1907. The indication route "Via Siberia" was cancelled and then consigned on 1/4/1907 to Shanghai British Post Office which provided to mailing by sea to London where it arrived on 4/5/1907. RARE USE OF CHINESE CANCEL ON OVERPRINTED RUSSIAN STAMP.
