Egypt, promissory note issued in Al Kirsah near Tanta and sent via Cairo and Suez to Mecca Saudi Arabia on 15/3/1857. The letter was sealed with string and sealing wax and transported using the postal system established by Mohamed Ali along the Nile. Most likely was forwarded from Suez to Jeddah using a ship of the Egyptian company Khedivial and from there by overland to Mecca. VERY RARE EARLY SAUDI INCOMING MAIL.
