Turkey and Area. French letter written on 17/12/1717 by trader Jaques Sienne Lecomp in Smyrne sent to Thomas Boyer in Marseille using Captain Theissere's ship. The letter, naturally unaddressed, was posted in the ship's mailbox and delivered to Mr. Boyer, the ship's owner. The letter contains information about prices for Nutmeg, White Juniper, Olive oil ecc. Clear transcription in French added. NICE AND RARE.
