1885: 16 c. chestnut used on 1891 mourning cover to Bordeaux endorsed "Via Seychelles & Marseille", tied by rare despatch obliterator "35" of Chemin Grenier in black. Carried by French steamer to Mahe and thence on the "Oceanien" with circular "Ligne T / Paq. Fr. No. 4" datestamp (June 15) in red. Reverse with CHEMIN GRENIER cds (June 10), Mauritius cds and arrival (July 1). Minor edge fault but rare.
