1840: 1 d. black, pl. 10, lettered SG, a used example with clear to large margins all round, used on beautiful floral design blue Ladies envelope illustrated on obverse and reverse in blue, to Rochdale and tied by neat Maltese Cross in black. Reverse with "Hartford Bridge" double arc cds of despatch in black (May 26, 1841).
