1840: 1 d. black, pl. 10, lettered AD, a large even margined used example on 1841 cover, no side flaps, from Oldham to London tied by fine strike of Manchester "Fishtail" Maltese Cross in black. OLDHAM circular handstamp in red at left, reverse with Manchester cds (March 18) in red and London arrival of the following day. Listed in Rockoff & Jackson on page 195.
