1895: Official legal size postal stationery envelope with oval "REPUBLIQUE / DE NICARAGUA / SERVICE POSTAL" in black on blue stock, with further circular Official "Directioin General de Correos" cachet in violet at left; addressed to the sender's opposite number in Quito, Ecuador with reverse showing Managua duplex of despatch (Jan 29) in violet, TRANSITO / PANAMA cds (Feb 25).
