First London Printing from Perkins Bacon plates 1853 (July): 5 c. red-brown on blued paper, a used block of four with mainly just clear to large margins (just touched at upper left), cancelled by four strikes of a black 6-bar target handstamp. Tear to the top of the upper left stamp and some other minor faults but a very rare multiple, a block of four being the largest recorded. Cert. Moorhouse (2011).
