1865: Santiago printing 5 c. rose-red Plate Proof on mostly unwatermarked wove paper showing arched central "CHILE" watermark on circa six stamps, a block of 60 (12 x 5) being the top five rows of the sheet and showing the full imprint at top: "Es preciso colocar las estampas arriba de la direccion y hacia la derecha -En mojando el Dorso es preciso cuidar de no quitar el cimiento". Minor imperfections but a stunning multiple. Ex the Brian Moorhouse estate.
