1857/65: Santiago P.O. printings, 5 c. dull reddish / yellowish brown 'canela' shades, the collection on beautifully written up leaves with used single examples (16), pairs (3) and strips of three (2, one is on cover), all in the scarcest shade of the issue and in superb quality with the 1860 entire letter used from Valparaiso to Coquimbo bearing strip of three with just shaved margin at top cancelled in black. A splendid group and extremely hard to replicate nowadays Gi 18 = £ 700+/Scott = $ 700+.
