1901: 5 c. grey-blue and black, 50 c. dull lilac and dull blue, used on registered cover, from San Jose to Mexico City, dated 26 August 1903, tied by indistinct cds., with scarce 'LAREDO,TEX.' transit registered label alongside, a trio of registered handstamp marks from San Jose, Nuevo Laredo and Mexico, endorsed 'Via New Orleans', to the reverse San Jose registered datestamp in blue, New Orleans 2 September, Texas 4 September and arrival 5 September 1903, small opening tears top clear of stamps, minor wrinkling, scarce cover; the 50 c. is rare on cover and in combination with the ellusive Laredo, Texas label more so.
