1897: Coat of Arms, 2 b. red, yellow, green and black, used on registered cover, from Oruro to Hamburg, dated 21 July 1899, cancelled by undated double circle in black, with boxed registered Oruro handstamp in alongside, endorsed "Via Uyuni - Tupiza - B'Aires - Genua", on the reverse Buenos Aires transit dated 6 August 1899 and arrival 29 August 1925; the 2b paying nine times the letter rate plus registration; a few opening tears top and soiled, however rare high-value used on cover. Cert. Moorhouse (2010). Ex Jaime Ortiz-Patiño Collection. Comes with 1917 registered cover front franked with 1909 War of Independence high-values 1 b. and pair of 2 b. in combination with 1901 20 c. and 50 c., a very rare franking and combination, scarce.
