Auction 333-341 Europe & Overseas Americas (North, Central & South America) - Day 1

1887/91: Salomon, small study of the 5 c. green, comprising four covers and an unused block of eight (4x2), includes; two registered covers franked with four 5 c. (x1 strip of four other two pairs), an example sent to Falmouth, Cornwall (Plymouth & Falmouth datestamps to reverse) and another sent to London, England; also a mourning cover franked with a pair from Aux Cayes to Hamburg apparently underpaid with tax marks and two mansuscript charges applied and a pair on a neat envelope sent from Les Cayes to New York, some minor flaws and the block is toned, a scarce and interesting asembly. Ex the Brian Moorhouse Estate.
