1776/1886: Postal History collection of Boliva postal markings, set out on sixty-five exhibition pages, neatly and extensively written-up on printed thick A4 sheets, comprising 110 prephilatelic or stampless covers, includes numerous scarce and rare markings, presented as a study organised by the historical political structure during the period and is arranged by areas; Chuquisaca, Cochabamba, Santa Cruz, Oruro and Tarija, this includes mail originating from the colonial period, the Viceroyalty of the Río de la Plata (Charles III), up until Boliva became a member of the UPU, many superb straight line handstamps, also noted official marks/administrative use as well as commercial markings, in mostly fine condition although inevitably faults to some as a consequence of the period of use, a rare assembly, not often seen so well presented in such detail, an excellent lot.
