1896/1921: Collection of mainly unused material from British East Africa and East Africa & Uganda Protectorate, with a range of larger multiples and blocks as well as sets. Noted among others; 1896/1901 wmk. Crown CA group of mint multiples comprising ½ a., 2½ a., 3 a., 4 a., 4½ a., 5 a. and 8 a. blocks of four, 1 a. block of six and 2 a. block of twelve, also 2 a. to 8 a. values each top marginal examples with part inscription with either part to large part og. (Gi 65-74 = £ 750); 1896/1901 set of sixteen to 5 r. each overprinted SPECIMEN with large part og. (Gi 65s/79s = £350); two examples of the 1921 wmk. Multiple Script CA 50 r. carmine & green overprinted SPECIMEN large part og. one lightly mounted (Gi 75s = £ 500 each). Also; used example 1921 1 c. black with inverted watermark and cancelled by a Mombasa cds (Gi 65w = £425). Other material of which much is large part og. and fine. Scarce accumulation Gi = £ 3'000+.
