1854 (May 16): Entire letter from St. Kitts to New York, still containing the original draft on the Colonial Bank, carried outside the mails and struck with oval framed "FORWARDED BY / JAURETCHE & CARSTAIRS / PHILADELPHIA" with cachet at left; placed in the mails with "PHILADELPHIA / 5" cds in black (June 13). Attractive and scarce entire.
