1880: ½ d. pale green, in combination with 1 d. venetian red and 1881 1 d. purple revenue stamp, used on cover, from Barton-on-Humber, Lincolnshire to Utrecht, Netherlands, dated 4 October 1881, tied by the '51' duplex of Barton-on-Humber in black. To the reverse a partial arrival dated 6 October 1881 also in black. Minor pulled perfs. in places which do not detract, otherwise very fine. A spectacular combination. Rare. Only known example of this franking combination.
